The Technical development of sewn products for production. Variability in human physical sizes, and grading and fit across a population. In team-based projects, students develop a sewn product patterns; generate prototypes and technical specifications; source materials; and plan, execute, and evaluate a production run for a sewn product in collaboration with local and internation non-profit groups.
Creator and Lead Instructor of BYLP design Camp - Black Youth Leadership Project
Designed and delivered introductory fashion design programming for 6-18 year old students. Curriculum included hand sewing, machine sewing, fashion illustration, sustainability in design and design development.
